Savvas Saloustros wins an SNSF Ambizione research grant

Savvas Saloustros will conduct a 4-year research program on the development of modern construction typologies based on earthen materials at the Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics laboratory at ENAC.
Savvas Saloustros, currently MSCA postdoc fellow at EESD, has received an Ambizione grant for his project EARTHEN STRUCTURES 4.0: A reengineered material for a sustainable and green circular construction. The project aims at developing the experimental and numerical framework that will allow to reengineer earthen materials for the construction of safe and sustainable structures.
Ambizione grants are aimed at young researchers who wish to conduct, manage and lead an independent project at a Swiss higher education institution. EARTHEN STRUCTURES 4.0 will be hosted by EESD laboratory at ENAC (EPFL).
