Save the Date! PeaceTech Hackathon 2026

After the success of the very first edition of the PeaceTech Hackathon in 2024, we're thrilled to announce that the 2nd edition will take place on 26–27 September 2026 at the EPFL Campus in Lausanne, Switzerland.
This year’s edition will focus on the critical challenges of Misinformation, Disinformation, and Hate speech (MDH), with a particular emphasis on gender-based violence (GBV).
Over the course of two days, participants from academia, technology, NGOs, and international organizations will collaborate to design innovative, real-world solutions that foster peace and social cohesion. The hackathon offers a unique opportunity to work across disciplines, address challenges proposed by partner organizations, and transform ideas into tangible impact.
