RIPONNE ELEMENTS
On November 4, ALICE first year students have materialized their first project at scale 1:1 around the place de la Riponne - a site they will be investigating all year. The phase ELEMENTS is a research on the intersection and articulation of material, territory, and body - acts of constructive and poetic translation.
The review was held in the studios and on site, featuring over sixty interventions in the urban fabric of Lausanne - all emerging from their site investigation during the MEASURES phase. The construction of those 1:1 prototypes - implicating the body’s energy - generated moments of negotiation and discoveries between studios and projects. The studios now moved onto the last phase of the semester ROOMS, during which over two hundred projects will emerge from a collective protostructure.
