Ricardo Hurtubia has been appointed Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a dual appointment to the School of Architecture and the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics. He completed his PhD at EPFL in 2012, under the supervision of Professor Michel Bierlaire

Ricardo Hurtubia is Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a dual appointment to the School of Architecture and the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics. He completed his PhD at EPFL in 2012 under the supervision of Professor Michel Bierlaire, he got his Master's degree in transport engineering and his professional degree of Industrial Engineer from Universidad de Chile in Santiago. His research is focused on integrated transport and land use models, accessibility indicators as tools for project and policy evaluation and in the use of discrete choice models to analyze and improve the design of public spaces and infrastructure through the understanding of user behavior.​
