RDS Explorer: Match with the right data services

Looking for the right support and tools for your research data?
Across the ETH Domain, many research data support services already exist, but finding the right one can sometimes be time-consuming. The Research Data Services (RDS) Explorer, developed within the ETH Domain Open Research Data (ORD) Program, gather them in one place: go.epfl.ch/rds-explorer.
Developed collaboratively by the six ETH Domain institutions, the platform reflects a shared effort to make research data services more visible, accessible, and easier to navigate.
Designed to save time and simplify access, the platform helps you quickly identify relevant services across the entire research data lifecycle – from planning and storage to sharing and preservation. You can filter services, understand access conditions and potential costs, and check whether a service is available at your home institution.
Instead of navigating multiple institutional pages, you can now explore a catalogue of services from EPFL, ETH Zurich, PSI, WSL, Empa, and Eawag – all presented in a clear, standardized format with direct links to official sources.
Service providers can also contribute and increase the visibility of their tools and infrastructures across the ETH Domain: open-research-data-portal.ch/rds-explorer-form/.
