Public benches and more

What are the public benches in Lausanne for and who uses them? Renate Albrecher, scientific assistant at the Laboratory of Urban Sociology at EPFL, has dedicated a large part of her research work to them. She also manages the Association Bankkultur, which provides information on public benches in Switzerland and lists them thanks to its "banc'aire card" updated by the population.
