Professorship at McGill Uni. for Daniel Kuhn's former PhD student
Angelos Georghiou
Angelos Georghiou has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
He will take up his appointment in summer 2016. He has made fundamental contributions to decision-making under uncertainty, and his current research focuses on the development of tools for the design and operation of next-generation energy systems. Angelos Georghiou completed his PhD thesis entitled "The Decision Rule Approach to Optimization under Uncertainty: Theory and Applications" in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Kuhn. Since then he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and ETH Zurich.
