Director of EPFL’ Soil Mechanics Lab, Professor Lyesse Laloui has been ranked in the Top 1000 amongst engineering and technology scientists in the world.

Director of EPFL’ Soil Mechanics Lab, Professor Lyesse Laloui has been ranked in the Top 1000 amongst engineering and technology scientists in the world, according to the latest 2022 rankings published by Research.com.

The rankings are based on a broad range of metrics including the Microsoft Academic Graph h-index and the number of citations which are compiled by Research.com for a broad range of scientific disciplines and countries.

Professor Laloui says he is thrilled by the ranking but is keen to continue to raise the bar. “Given the extremely high standard among engineering and technology scientists, I am extremely proud of the result. We have a long history of excellence within our lab at the Laloui Group and I am dedicated to evolving and expand our research and innovation going forward.”
