Professor David Kammer appointed at ETHZ

Professor David Kammer has been appointed by the ETH board as Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computational Mechanics of Materials at the ETHZ.
On July 5th, the ETH board appointed Professor David Kammer as Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computational Mechanics of Materials at the ETHZ. Professor David Kammer obtained his PhD in 2014 at the Computational Solid Mechanics Laboratory (LSMS) led by Professor Jean-François Molinari. He is currently assistant professor at Cornell University in Ithaca where he centers his research on the dynamic failure mechanisms at the interfaces of heterogeneous materials.
