Prof. Willy Zwaenepoel - Tsutomu Kanai Award

Willy Zwaenepoel, Professor and Dean of the I&C School, won the IEEE Computer Society Tsutomu Kanai Award for major contributions to state-of-the-art distributed computing systems and their applications. Fellow of the IEEE and the ACM, he will receive it in March 2009 during the Ninth International Symposium on Decentralized Systems in Athens, Greece.
