Already for the fifth time, Professor Urs von Gunten, Head of the Laboratory for Water Quality and Treatment in the Environmental Engineering Institute at EPFL and Eawag’s Drinking Water Chemistry Group, was listed among the highly-cited scientists internationally recognized by Clarivate Analytics company.
This consideration has been presented to Urs von Gunten in recognition of exceptional research performance demonstrated by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% for field and year in Environment and Ecology.
This year, the Highly Cited Researchers list includes 18 Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL) scientists and 4 Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science & Technology (EAWAG) scientists.
