Prof. Urbanke receives the 2011 Koji Kobayashi Award

Professor Ruediger Urbanke and his Qualcomm colleague Tom Richardson received the 2011 Koji Kobayashi Award for developing the theory and practice of transmitting data reliably at rates approaching channel capacity.
