Prof. Lignos gave a keynote seminar at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in December 20 2018. The title of the presentation was "Seismic Design and Analysis of Steel and Composite Steel Structures within the Framework of the new Eurocode 8"
The talk was organized as part of the annual seminar series of the Institute of Steel Structures at NTUA. The talk covered best practices including fabrication detailing for optimal seismic performance of new steel structures within the framework of the new Eurocode 8 part 1. The talk also discussed key advancements related to the seismic analysis of existing and new steel and composite steel structures of the new Eurocode 8 part 3.
