What’s your vision for real success and innovation in your journal research area?
With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), manufacturing is more and more realized in terms of global value chains. Trusted data sharing among all value chains actors is paramount. Furthermore, Industry 4.0 technologies aim to enable trusted collaborations among stakeholders and implement advanced manufacturing processes towards the coming Industry 5.0 principles of being Human-Centric, Sustainable, and Resilient.

What makes you passionate about leading this journal and having an impact on this specific research?
With the enabling powers of Industry 4.0 technologies and Industry 5.0 principles, manufacturing can become an essential factor in reinforcing connections between societies all over the world and even keeping peace.
