Prof. Guerraoui and Prof. Sifakis elected as ACM Fellows
The Association for Computing Machinery has elected on the 11th of December 2012 Professor Rachid Guerraoui and Professor Joseph Sifakis as ACM Fellows.
In 2012, ACM has recognized two Professors of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences for their contributions to computing that are fundamentally advancing technology in healthcare, cybersecurity, science, communications, entertainment, business and education.
Professor Rachid Guerraoui has been elected as ACM Fellow for his contributions to the theory and practice of reliable distributed computing.
Professor Joseph Sifakis has been elected as ACM Fellow for his contributions to hardware and software verification technology.
The ACM Fellows personify the highest achievements in computing research and development from the world’s leading universities, corporations, and research labs, with innovations that are driving economic growth in the digital environment.
