Prof. Dimitrios Lignos named Editor of EESD

In January 1 2025, Prof. Dimitrios Lignos was appointed as new Editor of the International Journal of Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics (EESD).
The International Journal of Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics is the official journal of the International Association for Earthquake Engineering (IAEE). The journal integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines to solve the problems in this field. The journal is dedicated to building the knowledge needed to make structures more resistant to earthquakes, making the world a safer place. Prof. Dimitrios Lignos succeeds a number of prominent Professors in Earthquake Engineering who served the journal over its more-than-50 year history.
