The selected candidate will develop experimental approaches to simulate the dynamics of fluid driven earthquake accounting for thermo-Hydro-Mechanical couplings, and wave propagation.

Candidates should possess a strong background in rock mechanics including fracture mechanics and acoustic monitoring. Additional knowledge on high temperature, high-pressure experimental rock deformation would be a plus.

Interested candidates should contact Marie Violay at marie.violay@epfl.ch, (including cover letter and a resume).
