The journal Polygone N° 0 entitled Pirate gathers about thirty contributions divided into 6 chapters on 320 pages. The theme is approached through photography, sociology, literature, illustration, landscaping, philosophy, architecture and design.
Polygone is a multidisciplinary critical journal, published annually, founded at the end of 2019 by six young architects from various French schools of Architecture. It is presented as a place for expression, debate and reflection on architecture, art and society. "Anchored in the present day - the editorial dossier states - Polygone confronts the opinions, struggles and actions of a new generation with a plurality of historical approaches. Polygone offers an opportunity for the unpredictable to express themselves. The inaugural issue explores the links between piracy, architecture and society. A multitude of contributions illuminate the historical figure of the pirate through the prism of current events, presenting new territories, new booty and new ships."
