Podcasts: a tool for sharing knowledge
Podcast recording illustrates one of CEDE's key missions: to provide experts with a professional space to share their knowledge and promote their initiatives.
The CEDE studios recently hosted the recording of a new episode of the podcast “Dessine-moi une ingénieure” (Draw me an engineer), an initiative led by the EPFL Alumni Women's Club.
This podcast gives a voice to female engineers from a variety of backgrounds in order to highlight the richness, diversity, and uniqueness of career paths after graduation. Through authentic conversations, it explores the choices, doubts, turning points, and commitments that shape a career.
The project's ambition is simple: to showcase a variety of role models, deconstruct stereotypes, and show that there is no single way to be an engineer.
By hosting this format, the CEDE studio provides professional-quality audio production for optimal listening in a warm and welcoming environment.
What if the next microphone was for you?
Podcasts, interviews, video clips, or hybrid formats—the studios enable messages to be conveyed in an impactful format that is accessible to as many people as possible.
In a context where teaching is increasingly shifting to audio-visual formats, these infrastructures represent an interesting alternative for teachers and education professionals.
A simple recording can become a powerful tool of inspiration.
CEDE studios are open to teachers and teams wishing to promote an education-related initiative:
- record a podcast
- produce an educational video series
- conduct an interview
- or test new formats for disseminating knowledge
