Who are the top plagiarists of the 21st Century? How can they be spotted? And what can you do to steer clear of it? This edition of Science! On tourne offers a debate on a phenomena with potentially disastrous consequences for science.

It's a nightmare for universities. A case of plagiarism or scientific misconduct can tarnish a school's credibility for years. And while the press routinely reports on high-ranking scientists caught up in extreme cases of fraud, plagiarism covers a broad spectrum, from accidental slips to downright deceit.

Drawing on famous and less well-known examples of fraud, the speakers will take you on a tour of plagiarism and its repercussions on universities and society as a whole.

You'll also get a chance to see the exhibit “Invincible when it comes to citations? Test yourself to find out!” organized and held by EPFL's library.
