PhD thesis completed by Ardalan Hosseini
His thesis focusses on the strengthening of existing steel structures against high-cycle fatigue using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites, either bonded or unbonded, under unidirectional or mixed mode loading condition (combination of modes I, tension, and II, shear).
We congratulate Ardalan on his achievement and wish him all the best for his future endeavours, which will start at UC Davis, USA, with a post-doc position in Prof. Lijuan Cheng’s laboratory.
