We are looking for a new PhD student as of spring 2022.
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join our lab of Neuroepigenetics at EPFL! In this project, we are interested in deciphering the epigenetic mechanisms of memory decline in Alzheimer’s disease. Specifically, we hypothesize that epigenetic marks can serve as readouts of past neurotoxic insults, and that such epigenetic clocks can be used as biomarkers with retrospective and prospective potential. Your background is ideally situated at the crossroads of molecular/epigenetic biology and bioinformatics, complemented with past experience and/or a strong interest in neurodegenerative disorders.
