Perrine Robin and the team of Dr Igor Stefanini (SUPSI) presented the output of our collaborative project entitled "Development of a microfluidic platform for real-time detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus based on multifunctional silica membrane biosensors" - MicroCoVSens at the SNSF Corona Research Conference 2023, which was held in Thun on 21-23 March 2023. They gave a talk and presented a poster, showing the design, development and engineering of a microfluidic screening platform incorporating DNA biosensors for the detection of unamplified SARS-CoV-2 virus.
This conference was the closing event of the National Research Programme "Covid-19" (NRP78) and was the occasion to discover all advances which were made over the last two years in the management of the Covid-19 pandemic. Future challenges and strategies to address potential future pandemics were also discussed.
