Nikola Obrenović appointed Assistant Professor

Dr. Nikola Obrenović has been appointed Assistant Professor at the Department of Power, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Nikola received his PhD degree in Computing and Control Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, in October 2015. His thesis incorporated areas of model-driven software development, rapid prototyping and automatic software design verification. During his PhD, Nikola was also employed as a software engineer and architect, responsible for various software solutions in the fields of data mining, data warehouses, and business intelligence. Since July 2017, he has been working as a postdoc in the Transport and Mobility Laboratory, led by Prof. Michel Bierlaire. Nikola's research interests include database systems, model-driven software engineering, mathematical optimization, and data mining. 

Starting from July 2019, Nikola will join the Department of Power, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Novi Sad.
