Newcomer in the Laboratory
I aspire to shape the future of structural engineering, contributing to a world that demonstrates resilience and harmonizes seamlessly with its environment
Greetings! I am Ahmad Majdouba, a passionate Structural Engineering enthusiast from Jenin, Palestine. I began my civil engineering journey at An-Najah National University – Nablus, earning a Bachelor's degree. I worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant, establishing the foundation for my career, and later as a Structural Engineer at Al-Zawya Council. My pursuit of excellence led me to Technion – Haifa, where I achieved a Master's degree focusing on mathematical optimization and structural engineering. This solidified my specialization in structural optimization, emphasizing efficient and sustainable designs.
Stepping into this new phase of my academic journey at EPFL fills me with enthusiasm to explore the realm of structural optimization more profoundly, with a specific focus on its practical implementation in creating sustainable, efficient, and visually captivating structures. Collaborating with the CONSTRUCT Lab, I aspire to shape the future of structural engineering, contributing to a world that demonstrates resilience and harmonizes seamlessly with its environment. As I embark on this new chapter, I am eager to continue my quest for innovative solutions in the field of structural engineering, excited to contribute my expertise to the lab, and collaborate with fellow researchers to address the challenges of our ever-evolving world.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I take great delight in life's simple pleasures. I enjoy the beautiful game of football, find inspiration in literature, and unwind through cinematic adventures.
