New video game consoles to borrow

CC BY-NC-SA EPFL Library
The latest generations of video game consoles are now available at the EPFL Library, which is a first for a swiss university library. Three years after the launch of the loan of retro NES and SNES consoles in March 2019, the EPFL Library is expanding its document offer.
You can now borrow a dozen video game consoles at the Library welcome desk, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm:
- Playstation 4 (PS4)
- Playstation 5 (PS5)
- Xbox One
- Xbox Series X
- Switch
- Switch Lite
- Super Nintendo mini (SNES)
- Nintendo mini (NES)
To borrow the consoles, you must be registered at the Library and bring the DVD sleeve corresponding to the console you wish to borrow to the welcome desk. You will find the game console sleeves on the video game display unit in the Science and Society area. The loan period is 7 days, automatically renewed 5 times if no one else reserves the console.
The consoles and our video game collection are available from the BEAST catalog. Like other library documents, they can be reserved. You can find more information about our video game, PC and console collection on our dedicated web page.
