New triaxial apparatus at LEMR
FIRST arrived at LEMR
FIRST is a triaxial type apparatus to study rock deformations under high confining pressure (up to 200 MPa) with pore fluid pressure (up to 200 MPa) and high temperature (up to 200°C). It can be equipped with 16 acoustic sensors, 16 dynamic strain gages and one fiber optic sensor.
The machine has been founded by the ERC grant "BE FINE".
