The CHEMINA Lab shares our perspective on nanoscale chemical mapping using aptamers
The CHEMINA team is excited to present a new review in Bunsen Magazine! In this work, we discuss how integrating aptamer-functionalized nanopipettes with scanning ion conductance microscopy could enable measurements of small molecules at precise nanoscale positions at biological interfaces. This technology could offer a unique window into molecular signaling at synapses. We also outline key challenges to overcome to realize such a system and make an impact in understanding complex biological systems.
