Marc Gruber's study entitled "Measuring the Social Identity of Entrepreneurs: Scale Development and International Validation" (with P. Sieger, E. Fauchart, Th. Zellweger) has been accepted for publication in the world-leading entrepreneurship research journal "Journal of Business Venturing". This paper provides researchers with a much-needed scale to assess founder identities. It builds on an earlier study examining the founder identities in entrepreneurship (Fauchart & Gruber, "Darwinians, Communitarians, and Missionaries: The role of founder identity in entrepreneurship", Academy of Management Journal, 2011).
