ETHOS director contributes to open global database on occupant behavior.
A Global Building Occupant Behavior Database is a collaboration spanning 15 countries and 34 case studies that makes publicly available data about both occupancy patterns and occupant behaviors relevant to energy simulation and forecasting. The database can help to advance the knowledge and understanding of realistic occupancy patterns and human-building interactions with building systems and envelopes. The database is a collaboration among researchers from the IEA-EBC Annex 79 working group.
