New open-source library for robust fiducial marker detection

The CHILI Lab just released a new, efficient open-source software library for fast and robust detection of fiducial markers.
chilitags is a C++ cross-platform software library for the detection and identification of 2D fiducial markers. Their purpose is to be printed and placed on objects from the real world, to form the basis for Augmented Reality (AR) applications. Using a camera, the position of the tagged objects can be acquired by a computer and used to virtually display information on top of them.
These markers are at the core of one of the CHILI lab main technology: tangible interfaces.
This open-source library is one of the outcomes of recent researches conducted by several PhD students in this field.
