New guidelines for nature-based solution in humanitarian settlements

A new report addressing the integration of nature-based solutions in the planning and management of humanitarian settlements has just been published by UNHCR
Andrè Ullal and Gabriele Manoli (URBES) with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and EPFL EssentialTech Centre, have developed the 'Nature-based Solutions in Humanitarian Settlements' guidelines, featuring a catalogue of different solutions for settlement planning and development.
The work was funded within the framework of the Geneva Technical Hub collaboration between UNHCR, the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)
