New grant awarded to Prof. de Rassenfosse

Gaétan de Rassenfosse has been awarded a grant by the SNSF to study how digital technologies will affect the future of innovation.
The grant will allow him to perform two studies. The first study deals with the automation of inventions and the consequences it has for the organization of inventive activities. The second study deals with the protection of inventions in the blockchain era and proposes a radical re-think of the intellectual property system.
This grant is part of the SNSF “Digital Lives” call, which is aligned with the forthcoming National Research Programme on digital change in the economy and society.
