New edition of the MOOC on plasma physics and its applications

A new, improved edition of the MOOC on plasmas will start on January 25th.
If you have not had the opportunity to follow or finish the MOOC course on plasma physics and its applications, you have the possibility to take it again. The course starts again January 25th, 2016.
The quality of the course has been further improved in particular the transcripts and the slides. An infrastructure was put in place to allow the use of MATLAB to solve the exercises without having to install the software.

• Basics of plasma physics
• Basics of space plasmas in astrophysics
• Industrial and medical applications of plasmas
• Basics of fusion as a sustainable energy
• Advanced concepts in fusion such as magnetic confinement, plasma heating and energy extraction.
The course will start on January 25th, will last 9 weeks and will be given in English.
