Enhancing the mechanical performance of composite corners through microstructural optimization and geometrical design

LPAC scientists have shown that the performance of composite corners, which pose challenges due to the limited flowability of continuous prepregs, can be greatly enhanced by a combination of material microstructural arrangement and geometrical design of the mold.
