The Geo-Energy Laboratory - Gaznat chair on Geo-Energy welcomes two new colleagues.
- Dr Haseeb Zia, graduated with a PhD from university of Geneva. Dr Zia field of research deals with computational mechanics and numerical analysis of hyperbolic equations with applications in sediment transport dynamics. He will be working on numerical model for the simulation of fluid-driven fractures propagation.
- Fatima-Ezzarha Moukhtari gradudated with a Master degree in soil and rock mechanics from Ecole des Ponts (France) and a Bachelor degree from Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics (Marocco). She is starting a PhD on hydraulic fracture mechanics, with a special emphasis on the effect of material anisotropy.
