Nathan Powell joined the DDMAC Group

Nathan Powell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2016 and joined Virginia Tech shortly after to pursue a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on dynamics and control, estimation and approximation theory, learning theory, and motion capture systems. He has been the awarded the Davenport Fellowship and Walts Fellowship while at Virginia Tech. As a researcher, he is interested in the mathematical analysis of engineering problems related to the fields of estimation and control.
