Nan Zheng (LUTS) receives award in transport and innovation
In Athens, Nan Zheng (Urban Transport Systems Laboratory) received recognition of excellence in the field of transport and innovation.
The winners of the YEAR 2012 Competition were announced on 23 April 2012 at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) in Athens. This competition organised by UCD Earth Institute and supported by the European Union, provides visibility to promoting young researchers specializing in surface transport (rail, road, waterborne). Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science awarded the six medalist for their outstanding work. The winners represent universities from France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Switzerland.
Among YEAR 2012 Winners is:
