Monique Figueirêdo joins the lab

Monique holds a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Groningen (the Netherlands) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia (Brazil). She has a background in biomass valorization strategies, particularly the hydroprocessing, oxidation and characterization of technical lignins. She currently works on the industrialization and development of products from acetal-stabilized lignins and their derivatives.
