The group of Prof. Pierre Gönczy (ISREC - Gonczy lab) provides evidence that the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) - which triggers the separation of sister chromatids and exit from mitosis across eukaryotic evolution - negatively regulates the spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC) in early C. elegans embryos.
