Mert Kayaalp receives Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE SSP

Mert Kayaalp, Ph.D. student in Professor Ali H. Sayed’s Adaptive Systems Laboratory (ASL), received the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE Statistical Signal Processing (SSP) meeting held in Hanoi, Vietnam, July 2-5, 2023 for the work entitled “On fusion strategies for federated decision making.”
The IEEE SSP workshop is one of the foremost international conferences on statistical signal processing and its applications. The 22nd edition featured many world-class plenary speakers for emerging topics, as well as regular and special sessions covering the latest research and innovation in the field.
