The ENAC startup, a pioneer in innovative biocement-related technologies, has successfully completed a funding round to expand its activities across Switzerland and Europe.

Founded in 2018, Medusoil is a spin-off that emerged from ENAC's laboratory of soil mechanics (LMS). It has just reached an important milestone in its development with a new funding round, securing a substantial 5.2 million CHF in total financing. The funding comes from existing investors, the Swiss Federal Technology Fund and Innosuisse.

Co-founded by Dimitrios Terzis and Lyesse Laloui, Medusoil is at the forefront of the development of biomineral-based binder products for the building materials sector.
