A scientific meeting organized by the MD-PhD Commission UNIL/EPFL
The next Lausanne MD-PhD Retreat will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the AGORA, Pôle de recherche sur le cancer, Fondation ISREC, Rue du Bugnon 25A, 1005 Lausanne.
The retreat encourages MD-PhD students and candidates to present their work beyond their immediate research environment and provides an opportunity to meet with former students, thesis directors and faculty members involved in the Lausanne UNIL/EPFL MD-PhD programme.
Posters of all MD-PhD students will be presented and six posters will be selected for oral presentations. Awards will be given for the best presentation and the best poster. This year, we also have the privilege of welcoming Prof. Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, Prof. Niko Geldner, Prof. Annalisa Buffa and Dr Alexander Salerno as keynote speakers. They will share their experience in promoting science among doctoral and medical students as well as clinicians (full list of speakers bellow).
