The Master’s Admissions Committee has met twice so far this year, in February and May.
The Committee, made up of permanent members and representatives of the School’s sections, reviewed over 3,000 outside applications – an increase of more than 20% over last year. The Committee’s task was made easier, however, by the fact that the permanent members of the Committee were provided with detailed statistics on student performance at EPFL and prior education (by school or by country). In the end, 928 applicants – or 28% of the applicant pool – were admitted.
