Marija Nikolic joins Swisscom as Data Scientist

Dr. Marija Nikolic, post-doc in the Transport and Mobility Laboratory (TRANSP-OR) since May 2017, will join the Mobility Insights team at Swisscom.
Marija finished her PhD at EPFL, in the Transport and Mobility Laboratory in May, 2017. Her thesis entitled "Data-driven models for pedestrian movements" was supervised by Professor Michel Bierlaire. Her research interests include probabilistic modeling, data mining / machine learning / pattern recognition and algorithm design.
In September 2018, she will join Swisscom as a Data Scientist. She will be developing algorithms, models and software solutions to extract mobility-related insights from large amount of anonymised mobile network data.
