Luca Mari joins the GIS Platform as Testing Technician

Luca Mari joins the GIS Platform as Testing Technician - Jonathan Martin, Technical Specialist, leaves the platform as of end of January.
The GIS platform is pleased to welcome Luca Mari (left on photo) as Testing Technician in the technical team. Mr Mari recently obtained his microtechnical engineering diploma from HEIG-VD Yverdon. For his diploma, he realized an optical stabilizer prototype for a new kind of telescope. This earned him a study grant, which he used to study Kalman filters for three months in the Optical Laboratory of HEID-VD.
Mr Mari will assist users of the platform in integrating sensors, setting-up and piloting test machines, as well as designing tests. The GIS’s Technical Specialist Jonathan Martin (right on photo) leaves EPFL end of January. The GIS platform warmly thanks Jonathan for his high-quality work for the platform and wishes him the very best for his future career.
