LQM intern Abhisek Datta joins Cornell University for PhD

Following his internship at Laboratory for Quantum Magnetism in the summer of 2014, Abhisek obtained his master degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and was recently accepted for a PhD scholarship at Cornell University. We congratulate him and wish the best of luck in his future career.
In addition to enrolment as a PhD student, with start in August 2015, Abhisek has also been selected by the Physics Department at Cornell to receive the special Hartman Memorial Teaching Award.
During his internship at LQM Abhisek worked on magnetoelectric susceptibility measurements on multi-ferroic and magnetoelectric materials. The report from his project can be found here: AC Magnetoelectrical Susceptibility Study of Multiferroics.
