Four papers from LIONS' lab have been accepted to the 2017 edition of the Neural Information Processing System conference (NIPS).
The conference will be held in Long Beach,Convention Center, California, USA, from 04-09 December 2017.
Four papers from LIONS' lab have been accepted to the 2017 edition of the Neural Information Processing System conference (NIPS). The papers are entitled as follows: "Fixed-Rank Approximation of a Positive-Semidefinite Matrix from Streaming Data" by Joel A Tropp (Caltech), Alp Yurtsever (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland), Madeleine Udell (Cornell), Volkan Cevher (EPFL), "Streaming Robust Submodular Maximization:A Partitioned Thresholding Approach" bySlobodan Mitrovic (EPFL), Ilija Bogunovic (EPFL Lausanne), Ashkan Norouzi-Fard (EPFL), Jakub M Tarnawski (EPFL), Volkan Cevher (EPFL), "Smooth Primal-Dual Coordinate Descent Algorithms for Nonsmooth Convex Optimization" by Ahmet Alacaoglu, (EPFL), Quoc Tran Dinh (Department of Statistics and Operations Research, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina), Olivier Fercoq (Telecom ParisTech), Volkan Cevher (EPFL) and "Phase Transitions in the Pooled Data Problem"by Jonathan Scarlett (EPFL) and Volkan Cevher (EPFL).
