Learning more about the governance of large urban systems
The Chair Management of Network Industries has launched a global research and education initiative on Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS).
In the first step, seven professors from EPFL as well as other top Universities across the world are involved in this initiative. There are also 3 PhD candidates hired with a special focus on the IGLUS initiative, 2 of them in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey.
Furthermore the IGLUS Executive Master program will start in September 2013, in partnership with Istanbul Teknik Üniversitesi, Istanbul, Turkey; EPFL Middle East partner universities, the Emirates; Tecnologico de Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico; Sung Kyun Kwan University, Seoul, Korea; Michigan State University, Michigan - Detroit, USA.
The IGLUS project has been started with a global focus and is multidisciplinary in nature, and the Chair MIR is kindly inviting interested researchers and experienced practitioners to become involved in this exciting initiative.
