Leading entrepreneurship conference to be held in Lausanne in 2027

We are proud to announce that professors Marc Gruber (EPFL) and Sophie Bacq (IMD) will host the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) 2027 in Lausanne, in June 2027.
The 47th edition of BCERC will showcase cutting-edge empirical research in progress that has the potential to significantly advance the field of entrepreneurship.
Held in Europe every three years, BCERC 2027 will welcome entrepreneurship scholars from around the world to Lausanne for discussions, collaboration, and the exchange of new ideas at the forefront of entrepreneurship research.

BCERC provides a unique platform for researchers to present emerging work, receive feedback from leading scholars, and contribute to shaping the future of entrepreneurship research.
About BCERC
Founded by Babson College in 1981, BCERC is considered by many to be the premier entrepreneurship research conference in the world. It was established to provide a dynamic venue where academics and real-world practitioners, through spirited dialogue, could link theory and practice. Each year, the conference attracts more than 350 entrepreneurial scholars who come to hear the presentation of more than 220 papers.
BCERC Doctoral Consortium
A Doctoral Consortium is held in conjunction with the Conference and was created to unite future entrepreneurship educators and scholars with established leaders and researchers in the field. Since 1985, it has supported more than 1,100 emerging entrepreneurship scholars. Twenty-five doctoral students are invited each year to participate in this elite cohort. Applications open in early September.
